Jigme Namgyel Engineering College

The Jigme Namgyel Polytechnic or JNP is now Jigme Namgyel Engineering College (JNEC) and one of the constituent Colleges of The Royal University of Bhutan. It was founded in 1972 and was formerly known as the Royal Bhutan Polytechnic, which was later in the year 2006 was changed to its present name which is, Jigme Namgyel Polytechnic. JNP is located in Dewathang in the district of Samdrup Jongkhar.
